I have to disagr...Thanks, insightful observation.

I have to disagree with what you said about this experience man delivering his unemployment insurance. I opine strongly that he is pitching for his future public appearance to deliver future plan of running for presidency. He has already stated his intention.

My personal view is that he is better off running for MP than his aspiration to be a president. Many people should benefit if he is elected as an MP as oppose to being a toothless president.

As an MP, he can bring complacent ministers to task, he can speak up for people disadvantaged by flawed policies, and mind you, there are so many of these.

What good is he to be a president only to find that his hands are tied by the very constitutions that were supposed to be protecting the citizens, And of course, it is rather awkward if he continues to sell other people's book in his website should he be a president.

As for Mr Vincent Cheng, I respect his decision to do what he feels appropriate. He had gone through enough to know what course to take. None of us can totally feel his pain and his suffering enough to judge whether he should or should not let go of the 'animosity'.

Though I have to say, generally, I agree with what the wise retired lady teacher said about "hatred is more self-destructive than the destruction of self by the authorities who jailed him".

I wish Mr Cheng well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
