A great class divide in First World S'pore!
Poverty
is the curse of the govt. A rich First World S'pore cannot take care of
the poor is a sad reality of our govt that only care for an elitist
society...
The class divide can be seen everyday on the street where people are struggling to survive by selling tissues and picking trash and cans for a living...Luckily, it is not a majority.
Our first class govt can lose billions every now and then but the society's poor are discarded as liability..especially the poor old seniors.
Our PAP Govt lacks the empathy and compassion but has no qualms to tax every citizen to enrich their high salary and ivory tower living...and to assist foreign countries but not our own citizens!
The grandeur facade of S'pore is for the world to see..
Our Govt of 52 years have failed the citizens miserably and need to be voted out gradually...come 2016!
PAP govt has entrenched themselves in a fortified 'S'pore Incorporation' and we are not a country anymore!
A country sold to the dogs!

They were once good before...Money tempts the devil and corrupts a good government!
ReplyDeleteI understand the spirit of your article, but how would you propose to that this "taking care of the poor" wont be used as a rhetoric to enrich the few ultras' like what happened in Bolehland?
ReplyDeletethis will be the difficult part to see through....as human will capitalize on the very situation in whatever means....
