Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDP) and their Brand of Politics

Alas! great minds never differ, Bryan! Personally, I never support SDP's cause of taking 'Changi Palace' their second home. Walking in and out feeling unashamed. Is parliament so difficult to enter than Changi??

If SDP wants to emulate Aung Sung Suu Kyi (ASSK)...imprisoned by the Burmese junta for no valid reason then the strategy really backfired for SDP. ASSK did nothing really against the law to be detained in house arrest. The same cannot be said of SDP.

As in all government...they will uphold the law biased towards oppositions. In the same vein, if SDP were the government and PAP provoked civil disobedience, what do you think SDP as government will do...So, all system of government are never fair! PAP will also be locked up in a change of scenario !

It been years, SDP has really never changed their political strategies on how to engage the system in the most 'civilized' manner than lock-horns with the law under the same consequences. SDP's vehemence, has brought about..as Bryan Ti said...oppositions ostracizing them and keeping a discreet distance. True ! has any opposition ever utter a word of support for SDP's brand of 'jail politics!'

In as much as many citizens want a change of government, the truth is, the state of affairs of opposition parties varies so widely , it has become more of a liability than assistance to each other.

Are our oppositions fighting a lost cause even after 50 years of PAP rule??. We must ask ourselves what is happening to the true spirit of political 'healthy engagement' with PAP??

'Pomposity and mindless defiance never made good political fellows !!'

At this juncture of political uncertainty to the oppositions, only WP is seen and believed to be a more credible opposition in the right direction. Where do RP, NSP, SDA, PKMS, SDP and new kid on the block SL compared to ??

AS the GE is drawing nearer and PAP is definitely redrawing the boundary..The Opposition has to stay relevant on their drawing board. To counter-offer the voters with their solid platform and manifestos of change for a better S'pore.

Another 20 years may be a long journey for the oppositions to claim a stake in the politics of S'pore under the absolute iron-fist control of PAP !!

PM Lee tells us next Year's Budget will be 'Good'

Bringing S'pore forward is an absolutely serious matter said PM Lee. And more generous budget and goodies for the citizens. No one will be left behind. S'poreans will come first. And more "affordable" home for the people. All sounded so familiar before the big election every time in the past too.

AS of now...many S'poreans are taking what LHL said with nonchalance. When they returned to power and that will be for sure. It is just a matter of how many more seats PAP will lose this time.

The likelihood for the election will be next March. S'poreans especially the younger generation has, thanks to the internet, are much more aware of the political nuance.

Have the citizens' lives really become better this last few years with the policies of PAP??..all bulldozed down the citizens' throats. The high COL...the ever increase of everything under the PAP kingdom. And to add insult to injury, with SMRT and SBS Transit making money, the government completely altered the lives of senior citizens by doing away with fixed end to end 69 cents travel after computer statistics showed that most senior old folks just travel from end to end...And that is not good for a higher profit for the transport company. So to discourage long single journey, not only the general population but seniors were forced to take transfers to save a little on transport. In the end, not all will benefit from it. And weak and movement difficulty seniors were curtailed and many just stay at home to look at the ceiling board or die of boredom.

That is what PM Lee said, no S'poreans will be left behind. Yes! the young and economically actives are all encouraged to do more. The seniors many with little or no contribution are greatly marginalized and life in S'pore is never "affordable". For the chosen elites and upper echelons of S'pore
everything are truely affordable with their "obscene' high pay.

The poor citizens and all senior poor folks are discarded...will always Pay@Pay....to pay more and more... Singaporeans KNOW TOO WELL NOW how they are being HOODWINKED.

Thank you PM Lee!!! Many things in S'pore are never affordable for many citizens anymore, only for everyone of YOU ministers and your big cannon Guns !!!

The Bing, the Bong and the 'Banned!' on Facebook

The rebuttal between Goh Meng Seng(GMS), Wilson, Roger and Bryan about the bing, the bong and the 'banned' on Facebook(FB)?..Has someone banned me on that?? Normally it will come into my email to alert me..Hence only now then I scrolled upwards to read the 'interesting emotional ' outburst of each and everyone.

Let me give my take on the 'ban and delete' thingie..If we have our 'solid genitals' with us as men, no one should ban or delete a written article ...how can we always hear the good things in life? FB is a portal for strong ideas and argument not a fairytale site for 3 year-old. So if we are to be engaged on Facebook(FB) we must accept every coming.

What individuals can do...if you do not like a person and his writings especially when it bore no relevance to the truth or just 'rojak talk', you can erase his friendship on FB but never delete his comments...Everywhere there is trash..if not National Environment Agency (NEA) will not be sending huge trucks to collect tons of them! That goes with human beings too!!

As long as a person(party) writes with conviction and intellectuality and not 'slip-sloping' himself he will be deemed credible. False accusation and mindless rhetorics is a no-win situation. It only reflects the 'inadeptness' of a person and also will reflect on his character.

At best, we are enlarging our very opinion for everyone to read and understand the connotations and facts not lies and follies on FB! At worst, you are just a charlatan !!

Just stay magnanimous if we can. If we even fail in just a simple act gesture of acceptance in argument on FB..can we really lead a government if the real time comes??..Don't you think this is even a very higher order...when so much brickbats and complaints keep coming in. We will just fail ourselves in totality !! Regards

The Five Beauties of Reform Party (RP)

Kenneth Jeyaretnam (KJ)..you are not using people power but women (feminine power) to softly but deadly kill all those young and matured guys into submission by the supposedly 5 beauties of the RP world. A new party manifesto of ..."Seeing the beauty is... worth voting for Reform Party (RP)".

And here with my inspiration I compose a poem dedicated to the Five Beauties of RP.......may they find their beau...if not hitched yet !

The Five Beauties of Reform Party (RP)

Sitting elegantly in motionless rhapsody
The alluring smile of five beauties
Can be the death of many a man's 'indignity.'

Every gesture of smile is ever so tempting
The coquettish nature of many a feminine
Raise the adrenaline of the weakening man.

Render hopelessly intoxicated is the man
Not by liquor or wine but by the sensuous
Seduction of "Cleopatra"-

The Queen of mystic beauty and charm.
Women oh women!..the nemesis of men
Ever so willing to die in their bosom.

Self-Realization will bring Peace!

The realization of self is the inner awareness of the one force that for me, through so many years of meditation and retreats, it made me a better person in relation to others' needs and demand, truth and untruth, kindness and ill-will, compassion and heartlessness.

We live in a world full of hate and violence but in many place we do find love and benevolence..We live to see the unfolding of the cosmic exuberance in relation to our transient existence. We must live well !

SPP and SDA fading into Political Oblivion !

Bryan Ti has put in the clearest perspective the state of affairs of MP Chiam See Tong (CST). A well-detailed write point by point of CST's follies and political misadventure.

CST is nailing himself deeper into his own coffin. No one is nailing him.
He is clinging to his last breath to hold on to 'his little kingdom'. CST must be too physically and mentally weak to even know what he is doing...Is he falling into his second childhood??

As Bryan pointed out the a vivid picture of CST's S'pore Peoples' Party (SPP) political
ill-ambition, we will just watch by the by-line the unfolding of CST's self-demise.

Desmond has all along did what he is doing for the good of SPP. To be branded and kicked out by the ingrate CST is incredible!!

I will not write too much as everything is covered by my capable BryanTi....his comprehensive write-up of the blunders and follies of CST.

WE leave it to the people to judge from their conscious mind and heart, not sentimentality !

CST can issue statements like this.."In the interest of the S'pore Democratic Alliance (SDA), we must serve our people and country first and not for own self-interest."
GREAT saying LOL!.....as Bryan Ti said..whether I want to laugh or cry !.....What a farcical utterance !

Is anyone out there crying for a cause of delirium in a sad old man !
Heaven forbids !!!

Vincent Wijeysingha's speech at SDP's second Rally

This is a transcript of the pre-election rally speech by Dr Vincent Wijeysingha of the Singapore Democratic Party on 13 November.

Dr Vincent Wijeysingha

My friends,

It is an honour to have the opportunity to address you again, my fellow Singaporeans, who share with me a love and a concern for the future of our country.

You know, I have lived in many places. And everywhere I went, I always came home. Home to our familiar Singlish. Home to mee pok, satay, prata. Home to MacRitchie Reservoir and the East Coast. The beautiful shophouses of Joo Chiat, the grand buildings on St Andrew’s Road. Home to my people. Those of you who have been abroad like I have will know the constant yearning to come home.

But home has stopped feeling like home. For all the PAP accusations that Singaporeans treat our country like a hotel, it is they who have turned us out of our home and then rented it back to us as tenants.

We no longer live in our own country. We live in a strange land, where we are not entitled to share with one another what hurts us and harms our community; where we are disallowed from discussing what needs to be done; where those who speak up are rebuked and accused of treason. Where honest, decent people who work for the welfare of their fellows [sic] are silenced.

But the SDP has refused to be silenced. The SDP has insisted on its right, the right of citizenship, to speak up where things have gone wrong; to tell those in power when they have lost their way; to not pretend not to notice the elderly and weak who are literally cast on the trash heaps of our nation to fend for themselves. To say enough, no more.

We look around us and we are unhappy with what we see. We look around us and have decided that we will not look the other way.

Today, we offer the people of Singapore an alternative vision for our nation. Today we offer the people of Singapore a set of fresh, creative and humane ideas to rejuvenate our nation and make our community live again.

Our party programme has been the result of many years’ work by many dedicated people who have looked deeply into where we are and [where] we might end up if we don’t shift course now. It’s About You is a comprehensive programme that has been costed and tested against the thinking of internationally-renowned academics.

It is a departure from the timeworn, redundant policies of flooding the country with cheap labour, filling every available space with a multinational moneymaking venture, and constantly telling the people to spend and spend and spend. And in the process of doing it, raising the cost of basic services, housing, doctors, school books so that Singaporeans struggle just to keep a roof over their heads, and have to debate whether or not that nagging pain can wait till next month to see a doctor.

This is not a policy we want. This is not a country we want. This is not a future we look forward to.

My friends, at this stage, I want to say something about the SDP’s response to the immigration policy. The SDP is not, and never has been, a racist or xenophobic party. We have always supported the rights of all people and have campaigned that no one’s human dignity should be denied.

The SDP makes a clear distinction between the migrant workers who are in our midst and the highly misplaced immigration policy that is threatening to inundate the island with more people than it can afford, and at a cost to our socio-cultural fabric that has not been assessed in any way. As the party which has shown its commitment to defending human rights, we argue strongly for the rights of migrant workers. But we state very clearly that the PAP’s immigration policy is not only ill-advised but threatens to tear apart the fabric of our community that we have build over these many years.

We look forward to a future where all Singaporeans are safe and cared for. Where all our children have the opportunity for an excellent education; where all our old people can live out their last days in comfort and dignity. This is your right and this is what we demand for you.

Once upon a time, the PAP strove to provide these things. Today, the PAP has utterly and totally lost its way. It has lost the right to tell us that it knows best and does best.

Our alternative vision speaks to your deepest aspirations. Our alternative vision is your vision. I invite you strongly to get a copy for yourself. To find out what we propose and how we’ve arrived at those proposals. To see for yourself that some of our policies have even now been taken on by the PAP. To read the views of internationally-renowned thinkers who support our vision.

Let me share with you some highlights of the programme:

We call for a new, internationally-recognised way of measuring how well the economy is doing from the viewpoint of the people.

We want to see income rebalancing policies like restructuring tax bands, introducing a minimum wage, looking again at the level of GST and removing it from essential goods.

We advocate retrenchment benefits for those who have lost their jobs and are taking time to retrain to re-enter the workforce. After all, not all of us earn enough to save for that rainy day since wages have so significantly declined for ordinary Singaporeans.

We want to see the creation of rooted and sustainable homegrown companies through policies that enhance the capability of our small and medium sector.

We propose reducing the cost of HDB flats to make them truly a public service and not a money-making, profit-oriented concern.

And we propose ways to increase expenditure on education and healthcare to build a healthy, and thinking, dedicated and creative population which can meet the challenges of the 21st century and when it is time to retire, retire healthy and happy.

My friends, with the publication of It’s About You, we say firmly that no longer can the PAP write off the SDP. In fact, the worn-out habits of the PAP are what should be written off as tiresome and pointless. The SDP’s programme offers a constructive and workable alternative, an alternative that the PAP is afraid of, because it has nothing with which to challenge it. It has nothing because with long-time success has come laziness and complacency.

We, the SDP, are not complacent. We place our proposals before you, the people of Singapore and we ask you to coldly, soberly, intelligently, measure them against what has been thrown at us these recent years which have resulted in the structural problems we are facing today. And we ask you to challenge the government, ask what its response is to the SDP.

What is our response to the PAP? We say it is time you went, and went quickly. And leave the government of this country to those who care about it, about its people. About its future. Because It’s About You.

My friends, at this stage, I invite you to join with us, to help us. What you see at this rally has come about through hard work, time, effort and energy. And of course, money. We need your support, at whatever level you can give. Come volunteer with us, join us, support us. Help us to do what you want us to do: To represent you, to speak up for you. To see that it remains about you.

Thank you and good night.

Human Mind and its idiosyncrasies !

William

I like your raising the question today in Dr Ng Yuen Yen class on 'smart aleck' who can
pass certain interview and admitted into the Sangha (monk) order or for that matter any order!
The just news of MOE scholar (Jonathan Wong) is another case in point! A pervert of child pornography with
an intelligent mind! So what is the equation of a person's worth and integrity in our human mind world??

The fact that all human has an 'uncanny mind' is undeniable. The mind can never 'betray'
a person. It is the character after months or even years of close scrutiny then the flaws surfaced.
So, you see, why is TT Durai, Meng Yi, Joshua Kang and the likes never apprehended
earlier until years later. The fact is you can never read their so-called 'noble' mind.....

Psychologist and psychiatrist can do that much ONLY when a case is found to be 'wayward' not before.
Before ..all that is only assessment. And these experts....damned! if they can detect anything
from the human 'SLY' mind. So you see what I mean......

In the Sangha order as in the Vatican, etc...the 'other side of midnight' is a sight to behold !!
Buddha and God in their most rational judgment will never want to create the human race
due to the atrocities and falsity and fallacy of the human mind, hahaha! Remember the simple term
"mind over matter"...it is more than simple. The complexities of the human mind without a
conscience compared to a beast..which survived not through manipulation but beastly
instinct of survival of the fittest. The law of the animal world is a straightforward law.

See how an old lion without good teeth will die because he has lost the dexterity to hunt to keep
him alive....the animal world of natural balance of death and survival. That lion may be killed
by another young lion, tiger or other beast due to his condition for their survival...a 'straight' process. The evolution of the animal kingdom !

Human can never understand the mind of human. Only through mind awareness by meditation
to gain Bhavana (wisdom) is where the human mind can be a knot above other lesser mind.
Mind training is the only way to save the human race from our own self-destruction.
No different from the Sangha order , the Vatican or the other christian fraternities....
Hence Buddha foresaw all the evils of the human mind since his time and through all eternity!

We live to see the unfolding of the heavenly bliss...We live to see our mind mature in meditation
to achieve 'jhana' and be a arahat. We let the world judge us, not us judge the world..It is too big a cosmic entity
of the human race... with the most unfathomable MIND!

Our Modern Generations of Diverse and Violent Youth.

Modern kids, many are spoilt, snobbish, no respect for elders and very defiant, act tough, pseudo-power, everything you can name
them. Nevertheless there are also many who stood up refined and helpful. These are the rare breed indeed!

Moral values and ethics have eroded due to the circumstances of societal challenge. The urgency of parents to provide the best for the family. The norm of both parents working. The employing of maids to look after the children when in the most tender age.

All these had eroded the proper upbringing of kids in S'pore. And the education system of 'elitist' independent schools segregated the seemingly more brilliant youth from their "no so smart" peers. Hence, society breeds characters of 'high and mighty people' like what our present horde of young 3rd generation ministers and MPs. Have 'IQ' but no 'EQ'. What has the government indirectly done to the sons and daughters of Singapore!!

Child Psychologists believe that the first six years of a child's growing up with a least a parent in constant care is important than leaving in the hands of
the maids.

Tougher penalty is a good deterrence against youth violence. I am all for it!!

"Hard-hitting" Criticism if it is True, will make for healthy Reflection

My 'ding dong' Wilson, though you are young, By your writing, if people can see the constructive criticism in your message they would have benefitted plenty. But due to pride and 'pseudo-greatness', thinking they are somebody but in fact in mediocrity and try to project as though they are spokeman and had been with the party for long.
It really leave much to be desired.

A character is a character. When you do NOT see even a little good point in a person's writing and try to be a smart aleck and truely without substance, it makes a world of different to engage the right person in intellectual opinion than wasting time.

I differentiate people like you, Khalis, Kang Rui and even Kevin Teo though young they have the real substance to make it good. People who show no analytical mind but want to be a solipsist is a no-no.

The road is a long journey into the unknown. We humble ourselves to the world of greater knowledge and and higher value. And when there is no value in a product or even in a being, we just ignore and trash it!

Hey! my ding dong pussy....reflect leh...not be too 'hard-hittng', a word I learned from (though it is a misnomer for people to say in the context of my note). Please show respect to JBJ and as I learned again about 'hatred' (tsk, tsk, tsk) and 'let go,' please see into the good of RP for the common cause of rooting PAP from their comfort fortress and give gallant Irene Ho some breathing space lah!

In all honesty, in so far as I do not see eye-to-eye with KJ, especially his 'storm-raiding' of an alliance on SDA (SPP) with the 11 points and the rest became the laughing stock of PAP...intra-party 'bickering and dislocation'.

But Irene Ho is really dedicated to her cause of fighting for the common good of S'poreans..Her effort on many write-ups on FB is testimony of her defiance to her cause...This we must appreciate
not like others who do not even have an iota of substance but using big foreign long words to impress..hahaaha!

When people are really putting in an effort....my Wilson, give them a break. Yes! everyone want to impress (who doesn't, that including me!) but people should know themselves if they really can or not...not riding on other's 'automatic gear'. And how one's past also can catch up with oneself...Never be too arrogant on other's borrowing.

Hey! Mr Sumo (DDP)..haha!..Ok right! better than what I used to call you, ahem!...thanks for that night meeting up with me and had a good jolly time with you on my Milo kosong and you driving me home.

When is our next tea-chat with Bryan...Yar hor! why is Bryan so quiet...must have been shut off by 'kidnappers' who are out to skin him dead or alive...I better check with the ISD ! LOL !

Political Flim-Flams, Dinghies and Paddling Pool

Bryan Ti's perspective of view comes at a time of political 'hara-kiri' of the oppositions especially Singapore People's Party(SPP) . Chiam See Tong (CST) committed that act but he is still alive. Bryan's article on the above prompted me to add my personal perspective on the general scenario on our political opposition front.

I fully concur with Bryan's argument on SDP. Without Dr Chee Soon Juan (CSJ), SDP may not be today for being famous for the right or for the wrong reason. The infamy of SDP is, many of its members had one time or the other became jail-birds. Only yesterday, I was at High Court to hear another case of appeal by CSJ on his illegal assembly without a license. This is the state of affair of the government's authoritarian control. There is no balance of justice. But as of the nature of SDP...being hot-headed, always landed them into unnecessary trouble of the law. Can you beat the system of PAP? Look into the broader areas whereby, SDP can alleviate the lives of Singaporeans. Be a parliamentary bird please!

CSJ strong speech during the party's anniversary is an awakening to the other self-serving parties who only see themselves as worthy of their party not as a whole unity at all. SPP's Chiam See Tong (CST) stood out as the greatest 'flim-flam' that he single-handedly brought up and also bring down. The latest debacle of removing of Desmond Lim (DL) as party ASG is the worst decision ever made by a party head and veteran MP for 25 years. The worst self-serving 'acute-angle' man with no regards to the law of fair-play, loyality and credibility. And CST goes further to want to kick DL out of SDA as secretary-general. But he was out-voted and he even did not show up in the SDA SEC meeting. CST has 'red-carded' himself. And sure, the dinghies in his party circle goes round and round. How sad!

Workers Party(WP)has maintained their noble-silent self...which may or may not be an advantage to them...But generally many see it as a strategic stance worthy of their own credulity. Low Thia Khiang is a season veteran, still young with boundless synergies, together with Sylvia Lim will be a formidable force of a credible opposition. Quiet, yet unassumingly well prepared.

Reform Party(RP) ...has hit it off like wild inferno when Kenneth Jeyaretnam (KJ), trying to move into the wings of SPP to form an alliance..But the events that unfolded revealed a man of poor political vision, over-exerting his authority, as in his 11 point conditions. Hence, the fiasco that perpetuate till now saw no end. And in the end, KJ saw that it does not serve his purpose to associate with a loser in CST, he vamoosed without a no thank you to old man Chiam.

CST is now in political limbo, so to speak. Come 19th Nov, a Political Dialogue will be held at NUS...and CSJ, Sylvia Lim (SL), KJ and CST are invited to participate. But with CST's condition, I guess Chiam will ask his wife Lina to represent him. Notably absent is NSP's Goh Meng Seng (GMS)...not invited.

National Solidarity Party (NSP) has weathered many political storm..Apart from the best showing in 2001 by Steve Chia, at best the party is quite mediocre. It has never risen to the occasion. Now with GMS at its helm as SG....hopefully some political awakening is in the offing, if NSP in contesting Tampines this coming election can skew up Maboh Tan team, he will be hailed as the Minister killer, over-coming a short but crafty National Development minster. Wish you success !

The moment of truth will be in this coming election. How well the opposition parties can perform will be a benchmark set for future strategies to overcome PAP's dominance and SLOWLY BUT SURELY vote PAP out...when the time is met with the right opportune.

And surely we will not like to see the same oppositions floating in the dinghies and paddling in the children's pool ever again and again....

'POLITICS IS NEVER A CHILD-PLAY'.....

THEOCRACY

THEOCRACY... it is a society ruled by priests who think they are Gods"..(that is The Vatican)...really a technical word as explain in Webster's.

The high and mighty leaders of the world are all..mainly...self-serving intellectual people out to control and to a lesser degree bring about changes to their people but along the way, their policies may kill and even annihilate others or their own kind or extermination of humankind!!

In as much as, as DDP wilson and balaji's in-dept opinion of the various methods of rule of each individual country....be it China, Russia, Germany, Britain...one thing is common in the very nature of humankind, the power to exert authority !

Look not far away...just our very own S'pore...is it not an authoritarian, totalitarian state now under one mighty control of a supposedly great legend of our times. But within the last five years, you just tell me, what is happening to S'pore?..its citizens? and the high and mighty ministars enjoying moments of 'who cares what happen to you citizens' lives" but themselves living in their own elite world of exclusivity.

So...what is the point of arguing history that have always failed us?...Did we learn anything from the holocaust?..Just see the middle-east and America's involvement?? From even the two world wars?....from the Vietnam war...from the very recent American's dastardly conquering Iraq...from the Dalai Lama..professing to be a great spiritual leader but with an agenda of self..to be the supreme 'commander' of Tibet. Do I not see into his inner self? Let his supposedly 'Holy Highness' see into his conscience...Is China really ill-treating Tibetans on the whole compared to the regime of Military junta of Burma?

Let us view the world arena of politics in its true essence. And look at ASEAN...unity of 10 nations...is it not a shame for one of its member country who blatantly 'fraud' their own citizens with its sham election that was nothing more than a 'wayang'(stage) show. Apart from Philippines who strongly issued a statement on the sham of the election....Minister George yeo of S'pore said that Burma's election is better than no election..words from a foreign minister of S'pore...I really must 'salute' him...for earning millions tax payers' salary to say 'masak-masak'. Asean has lost its credibility in its formation as a regional unity with its 'blindfolded' view..meaning no conscious view and morally a coward entity...As you do not like what I say...Asean is a toothless tiger!!

I am here not to argue any points brought forth by wilson or balaji...both have their strong say. What is right? what is wrong?... is just a demarcation of a thin line...like the demilitarised zone of the two Koreas....without due caution can explore into another war..We do not need that on Facebook to argue till "the running dogs go home to their ivory towers". We are here to share wisdom of thoughts and awareness of happenings. For happenings will always be the concomitant factor of our world, our life...We live to see the unfolding of life's 'light and darkness'.

We live to be spectators of a 'football game' seeing '20 fools' running up and down and having the best of life and money, just having fun kicking the ball even our ministers are thinking their salaries are 'peanuts'.....
So...is there an end to comparison of life's idiosyncrasies! Regards.

Dirty Politics!

Politics have a hand to play
Why must politicians never play fair
Every now and then an ugly snare
Not to engage in PAP out there.

Instead stabbing each other nobody cares
The allegation has a common share
Nothing more than the power fare
In the end no one is left in there... (parliament)
And PAP laughing all the way !!

Chiam See Tong an Opposition icon falling out of grace

SPP's Chiam See Tong (CST) has nailed his own coffin..when with sweeping power removed Desmond Lim (DL) from the CEC and stripped him of his ASG. That the cyclic effect of kamma represented itself with instantaneous results.

DL has played along well in this 'charade' and Chiam See Tong (CST) an old horse gasping for breath breathed in the wrong air of Reform Party (RP). And that led him to his ostracism from SDA now. Or more appropriately..CST ostracised his own party SPP.

Now, there is no option left but to fall back on RP. With this RP scenario...though RP is still willing to accept CST's SPP..the bargaining chips are stacked high on RP's table. CST will be at RP's becks and calls. It is a real sad happening to a once great 'single-authoritarian-power-hungry-politician' to fall from grace of his own doing. The day he kicked DL out was the day of his reckoning and ill-judgment. Nepotism is a bond without denying in all political hegemony. But the sad truth is even in the propagation of his political continuation, he is totally blind by the' law of loyalty' to the law of 'holy matrimony' which in this instant..the matrimony asset should well be kept at home to be a homemaker in Lina Chiam.

CST does not have many choices left. And the best of the worst, is to co-opt into RP and hopefully everything will rest in peace literally not in the death sense.

Whatever has been covered by Bryan Ti is a frank scenario of what SPP and CST can do..Beyond that, it will be left to KJ's magnanimity to accept him in to RP. CST's worth is devalued. The worst can ever happen will be at this juncture of political exigency of more 'unity of oppositions' to stand united as a cohesive force against PAP...CST has just nailed his own coffin and doing so, has also caused an 'after-shock' to other oppositions. It will definitely be bad in the eyes of the electorate.

Desmond Lim is having his last laugh...and ever so loud that he may be carried away to early too soon. As a friend of DL my advice is, when someone has fallen whether because of you or because of his own doing...reach out with your willing hand and do not let him hit the dust !!

A sad legacy of a once great but self-centred man falling into his own world of political death through his own handling of many things against his 'conscience'.

Conscience cannot be seen or weigh but will always be a part of many a politician's success or failure... If he betrays his own into a world of egoistic' solipsism against the smooth flow of cosmic exuberance.

CST is now a lost soul and emasculated by the force of 'cause and effect'.....

I am saddened.

Pull no punch...Speak your Mind. Either way people will screw You deep!

Each has his says. Opinions are far ranging...Sincere and truthful thoughts and frank deliberation are better than 'charlatans'..using God's name to fleece and 'con' you for your spiritual being and you will be going to heaven...hahaah! There are many such characters in our midst. All the sycophants of our modern age !! Always the sweet nothings!

My ding dong pussy Wilson ..I like your 'hold no punch ways' and as you said if there are no people like Bryan my LPY around than many shallow minded 'simpleton' will be in for a deep penetration until they really felt they are been screwed inside out..We do not need to be caught unaware...right!

For the last 5 years...many of us are been screwed deep and 'happy' by PAP..so is it any mistake now to scrutinize the right characters into parliament to represent us rather that presenting a false facade of godliness!

Yes! at present Sylvia Lim stood up among many sore thumbs...Earlier years Steve Chia was impressive as a NCMP. And Soon Juan's intellectual self has really gone beyond the politics of S'pore...which is not so applicable in S'pore's political culture....I can say that because ..myself have attended many of Soon Juan's gathering to understand him as a person.....

PAP and MSM had an agenda on him all along. In fact SDP has spreaded out their wings further and I can see a few intelligent youth wing personnel in SDP. The court should discharge Soon Juan and Siok Chin of bankruptcy and let them contest in this coming election...I believe they will make it good into Parliament !!!

We are all armchair critics, but even so we must possess some intellectual brilliants to argue our points across. Failing which... silence will not make a fool out of you, if you don't say anything.

A saying goes ...'You are entitled to be stupid but please do not abuse the privilege'...LMAO...hahahaah!

On Love, Romance with the Wolves, Breakup, Hate & How to Let Go!

As a volunteer para-counsellor I give you my 007 cents worth of thought. Personal emotion and love is subjective. As you said..no matter how he sneezed into your face, it is better than someone's kisses. Love has lost its sensation by the way you described it!

When that happens, the very sweet tender love you envisage and yearn all the time just come in sensational sneezes, where is the romantic craving anymore?...Definitely, something is very wrong. No man is an island nor a woman a stream !

When relationship sours, the emotional attachment will still lingers on and on, at least for a couple of months before one takes stock of oneself and really return to face the reality of.. hey! I need to move on, not dwelling in self-pity.

The letting go part will be a lot harder. Each night, you will just stay awake to fantasize the sensuous moments to moments. The ecstasy of love's intimacy! When love turns to hate, nothing can justify one's agony of reject, of breakup, of desolation, of emptiness. Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn and emotional sadness of lost love !!

At this juncture, it is self-over-emotional hate. Nothing is easy when the fallout is that 'heart-shattering' and 'heart-breaking' especially it is a 'recurrence' of another break-up. The death of emotional entanglement !

" Love may be a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined that it is inconceivable that you should ever part." - Sir John Betjeman; English poet.

Take a hold on yourself at this most vulnerable moment. As a lady, your weakness in love will always be the joy of lustful men. Men never lose out on love, only women. Please stay rational and calm.

The true sadness of life is not you lose your love. The true sadness of life is when you lose your soul to the devils and forever regret that love is never a splendour thing ! You become a playmate.

To all the girls I love before..and many walk out from the door - Julio Iglesias...(Ber..you sent me this punchline from Dubai!)....

Still a Tall Order to Engage in the Politics of PAP ?

HAHAHAAH!!! are you serious talking about students, Irene Ho?? I thought we
are in a more mature business of talking about 'life and death', 'an empty or a full stomach', of the 'rich elites and the poor miserables'...the suffering citizens in our midst??

So nice of you Irene to tag your article to me...The political culture of S'pore is so dismal. Our oppositions are all poor 'church mice'. PAP has capitalised on many of our weaknesses to strategize to their advantage.

It never helped that many pseudo 'selfish & self-centred' opposition personels will eternally sit and hoard the highest chair..with
elephant glue at their bottom. Power everywhere, no different in opposition camp!

Succession plan is in inertia. Singapore Peoples' Party(SPP) is a case in point. Chiam See Tong's (CST) 'swam song' by bringing in a mature goose will not help. This will be CST last and most unforgettable sad exit of his political long endurance of "self nobody but self"! Where are all his good stalwarts??

This election may be a watershed. But the oppositions are not capitalising on its significance. PAP now has many sleepless nights to try all their rhetorics to try to win back more votes. They know very well what they have done to the citizens! their draconic policies of forever transforming the demographic landscape of S'pore into a foreign setting...Only on this point...majority of citizens will not buy into their lies and more lies.

We are counting the moments of moments...and PAP will unfold some 'invertebrate new candidates' of scholastic 'big-hole' calibre but empty in their EQ !! Always easy to ride the smooth surf and just as easy jumping on the bandwagon !

We know how tough it is to recruit quality candidates for the opposition.
Hence I salute all those true vertebrates who without fear join the opposition to fight this coming battle of all 'grandfather's (MM LKY) battle. PAP will lose two GRC and maybe 3 SMC (not including the current two SMC).

In the true spirit of 'wacking' the PAP..I hope Lina Chiam can retain PP for CST. May be a little up the gradient....Sitoh is now dancing with the wolves!!...all for waiting to take over Potong Pasir...Take heed Lina Chiam..your days of reckoning is to be unveiled in this coming election.

We all wish you every success!!

We will never able to shake all the rotten apples from the PAP's tree; in the same vein, in the oppositions...Another 10 years ..maybe 15 years...then most "eyes will be wide shut" !! We all will pray for our children and children's children well-being in a foreign land Singapore!! Heaven forbids.
