Human relationship, be it open or secret is life's most intriguing piece of master-art. Whereas in this world, can we see loving each other, hating each other and causing harm to each other, an art or a masterpiece?
Relationship falls into two mainframes, serious or superficial. But secret relationship is only known between two people, harboring the inner truth of self-betrayal by that secret liaison !
Marriage is a serious relationship. Superficial relationships are mere acquaintances. We all know what is a Secret Relationship. Hence, I will not prick our conscience to dwell on it! We are our own destiny of how we should be.
A friendly relationship develops and through time and along the way, we will grasp the character, the sincerity, the honesty of such relationship by our very observation and judgment. Likewise, we are scrutinized the same....The bond builds up into lasting eternity of endearment..... In couples,
looking for life-long relationship, it too builds from such a beginning.
Why do some relationships fell short, whereas others perpetuated into lasting warm? MM Lee Kuan Yew's (LKY) relationship with one of his old schoolmate was such sincere, long honest relationship even when LKY has become the Prime Minister and his schoolmate (forgot his name -featured in the Straits Times not long ago). This is the true heartwarming relationship without encumbrances even social status had changed. It surpassed all barriers.
Relationship in love and finally towards holy matrimony is a more 'complex' one. You think you know your spouse after courtship...promising a life of blissful union but the lasting effect of staying together manifested itself when we human would change, as we move on into different 'cyclic existence' of our whims and fancies.
Acceptance of the marriage creed comes easy when the young couple, full of live and radiance. The life ahead has yet to be tested. Only in close association and 'bickering', a 'trial and tribulation' then life and relationship begin in the marriage paradigm. But the paradox of human relationship holds truth the idiosyncrasies of ourselves, our understanding of others, our non-judgment of situation, our willingness to accept things that cannot change and change things we can accommodate and accept.
Life and relationships begin only if we do not see ourselves as the protagonists (main actor).
Lasting relationships are built not by chance but by the equation of all the 'simple' and 'perplex'
characteristics of human. For no living human personae are identical.
Secret relationships never last long enough to be 'no secret anymore' and the resultant revelation can be shattering....causing hurt to others not in the known until the 'vapour' escaped.
Buddha propounded his Dhamma on the dogma of humanity in all sentient beings. The Great Sage's vision can never be juxtaposed and we are all in awe to his supreme foresight of human relationship....and the world of constant happenings in all human!?

Inflation: A Spectre to be slayed? -ST reports today ??
This is the headlines in today's (8.2.11),ST page A6, prime news...How can inflation keeps on surging upwards ?
As the government unveiled the last half of 2009's increase across the board...the statistics are already behind time ?!
Based on the tables supplied by ST...transport is a whooping 10.1%...Housing is hovering at 3.8 %. It was based on the CPI from July to Dec 2009....
Last year we saw even worst escalating of housing. In fact it went up to a high of 17% increase. And the government intervened too late, too insensitive. The damage had been done.
On the same page ST highlighted the Foo family of four..I quote: "The Foos family of four , are fretting about the rising costs on various fronts." - unquote. "Their two children aged 27 and 31, who want to get married, are daunted by the high cost of new flats>>" So, Mr Mabok Tan.....is HDB still AFFORDABLE in your limited brain cells?
Mdm Halimah..the mouthpiece of PAP and NTUC..is trying to help by upping the income ceiling for financial aid eligibility from $1800 to $2500 for childcare family.
And the supposedly greatest sacrifice of the authority is its "pre-emptive strikes", to deter INFLATION... The annual public transport fare review exercise would be deferred this year....WOW!..so magnanimous !! The question we beg to ask is...Why when the transport companies are making millions every year still keep on increasing fare??....
Guess I will answer for them. "We are building a first class system of transport for you all..with the circle line completing..so we need to increase fares to get back what we put in"....NOTHING IS FOR FREE PLEASE !!? ..
And after the 18th February's Budget speech, be prepared to pay back everything and MORE! We ARE PAP, YOU ... PREPARE TO PAY !...not only PAY and PAY!...

Core Values, Asian Heritage and National Spirit...
Another rhetorics of awakening..from today's ST headlines: "Hold on to core values amid changes: PM Lee". And Govt will manage pace of change to keep sense of belonging..LOL!..PM talks good and soothing like a soft massage!..What sense of belonging PM Hsien Loong, are you talking about.??...With the citizens suffering the indignity of 'cramps' on MRT, buses and inflation, brought about by the govt on every section of people's livelihood ? Walk the talk man! don't blowing in the wind, please !
"As the world changes, so too must Singapore."- begins the lesson by Li Xueying -political correspondent of ST.
Wow! this one is really inspiringly absorbing!!..' Singaporeans must hold fast to certain constants - their core values, Asian heritage and the"national spirit" to overcome crises together, said PM Lee...clap..clap..clap..!
Do the govt really see to the citizens to overcome crises together ??..When the property price of HDB keep on spiralling and spiralling, did anything was done to it ...until...when election is near and Mabok Tan is 'swamped!"..and sure the measures come quick and fast at the critical tensile point of snapping...All citizens crying foul....
The transport restructured on distance travel . Penalising mainly the senior poor old seniors to never can enjoy a long ride from end to end..but transferring to save a couple of cents. And after election will cocksure to increase again as PTC has given notice. This is what PM LHL is saying about 'CORE VALUES' ...the govt make more money out of the very poor and 'uplift' their lives' into 'overcoming crises together'...ho..ho..ho..!
Old folks just want to while away their time. And he goes on further..."Some feel a sense of dislocation and unfamiliarity amid the rapid changes"....Sure we do..the dislocation and unfamiliarity of the drastic influx of foreigners and the rocketed rise in public housing out of reach to many average citizens !!??
And to top it all and the poor camel's back !..."there are physical improvements such as the new Marina Bay skyline and upgrade housing estates, society is also changing on a more intangible level."...Magnificent, the Marina Bay Skyline are not for the average mortals to awe and admire..but for the govt..fancies of First World S'pore...many sentiments of ..who cares what skyline and waistline, do I feel fed by looking at the skyline of S'pore Wonders ??

Singapore a Nation of Paradoxes ?

With all the high powered talks with the who's who at the forum of the Institute of Policy Studies just ended..will it come to anything concrete?? Academics and experts are only human....If you got a mouth, a proper tongue you can talk right ? Wong Kan Seng is a good elusive talker and he delivered the key-note speech !
Singapore a nation of Paradoxes?..Yes, it is! In relentlessly pursuing S'pore to be first in the Global setting and growing a GDP not for the masses but for the system, S'pore's society has seen better days !! We see progress, we see wealth but where did it all go to ??...Your guess is as good as mine.
The greater influx of foreigners and as Sylvia Lim pointed out..we used to have 86% Singaporeans, now our citizens numbered 63%..So are the real S'poreans being sold out!
The social and demographic upheaval of life to the average S'poreans is far-reaching...Our space are encroached..our wellness of living jeopardised, our transport squeezed like sardine cans, our public housing go beyond the reach of many citizens. And only lately..the government is hearing our desperate cries in the wilderness..but it came too late..even the recent more drastic curb on private property speculation..the sky had already blew open !!
How we as Citizens see ourselves for the next 10, 20 years?...Doubtless our children and our children's children will be fighting hard to survive in a Singapore brought about by the draconic rule and insensitive to our cries of enough, enough, do something, we need help!
PAP having ruled S'pore for 51 years ...with the 'rigid' transformation of the last 8 years showed...how the 'failed' or drastic policiies changes the very structured of life even in a poor old folk..Tough years to go with pace of globalisation at all cost!!
Can we see ourselves as citizens of S'pore, our motherland moving away from our very doorsteps with the unrealistic pursuit of a 'Shangri-la' for the super rich, the inner circle of people, the elites and all the President's men. A nation becomes a corporation of money making entity and enrichment of themselves!
So, do the deprived, destitute, poor and senior old folks have a place to call home??
And how strong will our pleads reach the governments ears...the deaf ears of the system failure!!

The Collapse of a Dynasty ! -MM Lee Kuan Yew (LKY)
Today..MM LKY dropped a bombshell in Sunday Times by saying..."I am not interested in building a Dynasty?"
After 51 years of PAP rule and now our wise old man said that? Is it a wake-up call to his party younger colleagues ?
Or is it he has a 'premonition', this 'coming mother of election,' will see a strong contest and beating of the asses of some 'good-for-sitting-only' in parliament of PAP members...notably Charles Chong...who remarked that Singaporeans (S'poreans) are 'lesser mortals.'
As it is, it is always gracious to exit a scene and leave a strong impression. With funfare or not, it does not matter. It matters when people just cannot move on away from the power and limelight they hold dear! Clinging on to a legacy of once great achievements, sadly, for MM LKY, with many gaffes and bloopers.
MP Chiam See Tong's case (CST), it is so heartbreaking to see a once credible MP and supposedly leader of the opposition fell under his own indignity....It would be an ungracious exit in his political career...Sad for a man I did admire even with his earlier years' excusable shortcomings...until now !!
Singapore Peoples Party (SPP) and Desmond Lim has not resolved their differences till this day...It may or may not be a civil case pending?..the ball is kicking in CST's court !!
PAP's hegemony as a one party rule of dominance, drastic, draconic at times and trashing 'down the citizens throats policies' deemed good to them with little regards to the disconsolation of the general public..A case in point and I will always mention it...The Transport Fare restructure across the board...is that not draconic and authoritarian ...what is ?
The suffering old folks have to eat humble pie ? Raymond Lim is next to be booted out !!!
